Here is the important information concerning housing for Cornerstone in light of COVID-19.

Definition of Cornerstone Host Home Program: The student will be paying the housing fee and Cornerstone will figure out housing for the student.

Here are a couple of guiding objectives we are trying to accomplish through the housing during Cornerstone in light of COVID-19.

1. We are trying to minimize exposure to non-Cornerstone students in living situations.

2. For those who will be exposed in living situations to non-Cornerstone students, the hosts will need to be tested for COVID-19 or have already been vaccinated.

3. All students using the Cornerstone Host Home Program will be placed in living situations with other Cornerstone students where they will not be interacting or exposed to non-Cornerstone students. These students will placed with other students in whole apartments or town houses. As a result, the only ones those Cornerstone students will be living with will be other Cornerstone students who have been tested already. This is our way of doing our best to ensure on the program’s end that y’all live in a COVID-19 free environment.

4. For those who are not using the Cornerstone Host Home Program, we obviously cannot make the same guarantee as those who are using the Cornerstone Host Home Program. But we will be taking certain measures because any exposure to some Cornerstone students through their living situations will end up affecting the whole class. As a result, in addition, to providing/requiring the host home to take a COVID-19 test or be already vaccinated, students living with the hosts will be required to take social distancing precautions while living with the hosts. They will need to wear a mask when in the same room with the host and students will need to handle their own food.

5. For the students who are not using the Cornerstone Host Home Program, at the end of the program, the students will be requested to take another COVID-19 test before they return home.

6. Students who have not been fully vaccinated will need to be tested once a week in one of the many free COVID testing places near the area.

ACTION STEPS FOR CORNERSTONE STUDENTS

1. Please confirm by email whether you will be using the Cornerstone Host Home Program or not.

2. If you are not using the Cornerstone Host Home Program, we will need the contact information of who you will be living with.

3. If you are using the Cornerstone Host Home Program, please pay the $295 housing fee as soon as possible to secure your spot. All payments are made at EveryNationMASP.org/Housing

We are trying to sublease or airbnb places for our students. However, we aren’t able to do so unless we have the funds from the housing payments. The sooner we can have all your housing payments in, the sooner we will be able to secure your housing arrangements.

Please let us know if you have any questions.
